Kanye West is noted for being one of the most egotistical celebrities to date. He is quoted in his lyrics for blaming the government for AIDS, Ronald Regan for putting crack cocaine in the ghettos, and George Bush for hating Black people. Nevertheless, despite the fact that I think Kanye needs a good reality check, Kanye proves what media attention can do for your career, as well as what media can do to spread the word and change people's opinions. West has successfully manipulated the media to suit his needs. He draws its attention, and therefore is able to use his own personal views about the government to influence others.
